The Zimbabwe Heads of Christian Denominations has called upon President Emmerson Mnangagwa and MDC leader Nelson Chamisa to suspend elections for a period of a seven years and allow a transitional authority to run the country’s affairs.
The ZHCD leaders were speaking during a press conference held on Tuesday.
The clergymen said they had met with Chamisa and delivered the full statement and had also left the full statement at the Office of the President and Cabinet.
Mnangagwa is currently in Uganda on official visit.
